I enjoyed the new book, Sprite and the Two Talking Turtles, as much as her last one. It continues with the adventures of Matthew and his dog Sprite, and once again deals with an important issue - in this case, the problem of plastics on beaches. This book teaches young children a lot but equally engages and inspires them with a compelling story, clever rhyming and some beautiful illustrations. This is highly recommended for all parents and teachers who want to raise environmental awareness with an adventure story but not lose the interest of their children. A ‘must buy.’

This is a great book for children in a really important theme - too much plastic in the ocean. I love the fact that it's written in such an engaging way. It will capture children's imagination from a very young age as well as making them think about how we should not be polluting our shores. I also like the emphasis on diversity as the main character has a prosthetic leg.
